Honda Cars : 2010 Honda CRV Spyshot? | 2013 New Honda Car Reviews 0

The one on the left is the spyshot of a pretty un-camo'd CRV, with slight changes (as Honda usually does to a vehicle once it hits its 3rd year run), the one on the right is of the 2007-2009.
A forum user named "Puttz" at the Temple of VTEC took a picture of a manufacturer-plated CR-V in Dublin, Ohio near Honda's Marysville plant. In addition to a set of wheels that Puttz said were reminiscent of those on an RDX sketch, the grille is bigger and wearing a lot more chrome work. On the left is the spy shot, on the right is the 2009 CR-V. As another forum user noted, the 2-piece center section is somewhat of a return to the previous generation CR-V.

Beyond that, the bumper gets reshaped with a different profile leading into the lower front fascia, and the fog light housings look to be more integrated. If this is the 2010 CR-V, it appears Honda is only making minor changes to its popular cute-ute.

Wow, those temple of vtec people have been busy....
VWVortex Member Michael J Balisky was vacationing in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park when he spotted this posse of Crosstours getting their test on. I guess this sighting lends a lot of credence to the October 26, 2009 onsale date rumors that were just posted. Mr Balisky does not list an e-mail address in his profile so we were unable to contact him. Here is a lnk to the thread at VWVortex: name the car (spy pics)

Honda Cars : Could this be Honda's CR-Z in production form? | 2013 New Honda Car Reviews 0

Well, don't know where Mr. Burlapp dug this up (he's always been great at finding stuff like this), but it's interesting none the less. Looks a lot like the Honda S3000 that was to be proposed to replace the S2000. If anything, I think it could be what the CR-Z could end up looking like in it's (close to) production form, although Honda has squashed any ideas of a convertible CR-Z last I heard.

Honda Cars : Temple of VTEC; New Spy Shots of the Accord-based CUV | 2013 New Honda Car Reviews 0

Nice find from www.vtec.net ....
For the second time in several months, we've caught a development vehicle for an ALL-NEW Honda Accord-based crossover! This vehicle program has been rumored for quite a while now and these pics are the first proof the project has finally been green-lighted.

At first glance, this vehicle may look like nothing more than the European Honda Accord Tourer. Closer inspection reveals that is not the case. For starters, the U.S. market Honda Accord front end has been grafted onto the body. While most of the body on this mule is non-production, this front end may actually be close to the final design of the nose we see on the production CUV.

We can also see fender flares that have been tacked onto the body and covered with tape that matches the color of the paint. These flares indicate that the wheel track has been widened slightly. Looking directly behind the rear doors, it quickly becomes apparent that a few extra inches of sheet metal and glass have been added to the body, suggesting the final product will be a few inches longer than the current European Accord Tourer. This development vehicle is also riding higher than a standard Accord Tourer and actually resembles and Audi allroad in person.

Based on the Honda Accord chassis, this all-new crossover vehicle will start production in the 4th quarter of 2009 at the Marysville or East Liberty factory. The Accord CUV will slot in-between CR-V and Pilot and will look to do battle with Toyota's new Venza CUV.

Honda Cars : Japanese Honda Odyssey Spotted Tested in CA | 2013 New Honda Car Reviews 1

The above cell phone image of a JDM Honda Odyssey was spotted in Palos Verdes, CA recently. The car was wearing "3421" manufacturer license plates, which apparently Honda uses.
This is a older post from Edmunds.

Well this is a interesting development, I have been under the full impression that it would be the Honda Stream that would make its way to the North American market. Now, that's not to say that Honda is testing this vehicle for this market, they could be doing weather condition tests. Only time will tell.

Honda Cars : Next Gen Honda/Acura NSX Spied | 2013 New Honda Car Reviews 0

Honda was hardly going to leave Nissan and Toyota to steal all the thunder in the supercar market as they look to provide some serious competition with its new NSX. Previously we had only seen prototypes of the new model sporting the body of the S2000, but now for the first time the model has come out showing its new body styling albeit with the annoying black and white camoflage.

Unlike the previous mid-engined NSX this prototype is running a front-mid engine, with its powerplant placed well behind the front wheels to ensure excellent weight distribution. This should also allow the new NSX to offer 2+2 cabin accommodation, broadening its appeal against the Nissan GT-R and Lexus LF-A - particularly in the USA.

What that engine is remains very much a mystery. There’s talk of a high-revving naturally aspirated V10, which would fit in very comfortably with Honda’s Type R philosophy. Honda’s not as obsessed as many by big horsepower outputs, but even so an output of 450 hp seems likely. Should such an engine be fitted to the sort of lightweight body as the previous NSX, the performance would be exceptional. Four-wheel-drive, with rearward bias, is also rumoured, the handling expected to be controlled by a version of Honda’s electronic Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.

The Honda NSX is not expected until 2009 and on top of its Japanese rivals it must also compete with the likes of the Porsche 911 Turbo, Ferrari F430 and the Lamborghini Gallardo.

Honda Cars : Ever Wonder What a Sedan FIT Might Look Like? Here's the Honda CITY. | 2013 New Honda Car Reviews 0

This vehicle is not sold in North America, but competes directly with the Yaris Sedan in other countries. The pictures above are of the upcoming model change, whereas the bottom pic is the outgoing model. Anyway, not sure we'll ever see this car here in North America, and I can't say that there wouldn't be alot of self-cannibalisation if it ever did come here (ie: would eat into the existing FIT and Civic sales, just like the Yaris does to the Corolla). Anyway, just thought I'd bring it forward for those interested.

The shifter is now located on the dash as opposed to on the steering column which is just more of an update than anything. I am glad that Honda didn't put the shifter in the middle console like alot of other vehicles, this leaves the Pilot with a full middle console. The Pilot also finally gets dual zone climate control and a auto day/night mirror.
I wonder if the Pilot will get the same rear view mirror with the backup camera as the odyssey like below.
The interior looks great so far.

Honda Cars : 2009 Honda Pilot; What to Expect. | 2013 New Honda Car Reviews 0

A bigger engine is rumoured to be entering the fray, it's current 3.5L V6 should be replaced by a 3.8L (or 3.7L) V6. Expect Variable Cylinder Management on all models (shuts down from 6-4-3 cylinders) like the new Accord. An increase in horsepower will go without saying, I expect 270hp or so, up from the current 244hp. You can expect to see Dual Zone Climate Control and a power passenger seat, probably for Leather models only. Blue Tooth will make it's entry, again, if the new Accord is any indication, on Leather models only.

The big news will be a Diesel engine option. Honda rumours state that the Diesel engine will be introduced for 2009, however I am thinking it will be introduced a little later. Who knows.

As far as style goes, I expect a more urban look (sleaker lines), not so 'truck-like' (box-like).
The current model is still an outstanding choice and rates at or near the top in every catagory, so don't count it out just yet!
